Explanatory Minyan - Beth Jacob
We are now finalizing the next dates for our Shabbat morning explanatory minyan, services that are similar to our popular High Holidays "I Wish I Got More Out of Services" service which Beth Jacob has offered the past several years. It is an explanatory, fully halachic, minyan where attendees experience a spirited and uplifting davening. The brainchild of Michael Borkow, was run since 2011 in conjunction with Rabbinic Fellow, Rabbi Arye Sufrin, who helped explain what we do and why every step of the way.
The purpose of the minyan is to create a vibrant and more meaningful Shabbat service experience that is actively engaging every step of the way. The minyan always begins at 9 am, with the explanatory portion beginning at 9:15 am. Please feel free to participate and/or invite anyone you think might be interested.
