Participate by observation

When we sit back, do less, observe more we can get to know a child, understand their perspective, give them a chance to explore their own ideas.

Sometimes little ones are used to being entertained. If we can slow down for a few minutes and see what they do without our interference, it will be amazing to see how long they can go before giving up, how long they can concentrate. And when they see how much we value their ideas, it reinforces the connection between parents and children
