Weekday Nusach Hat'filah Mp3 Recordings

Here you’ll find MP3 files containing the entire weekday services including special additions recited on specific occasions.

The purpose of this page is to bring you a sample of accurate pronunciation of the text together with the suitable Nusach Hat’filah in order to help those who are interested in leading a weekday service as well as anyone who would like to deepen his/ her knowledge in that matter.

Here, at Beth Jacob Congregation, we use Nusach Ashkenaz Minhag Chutz La’aretz and we follow two Siddurim: Artscroll Kol Ya’akov (RCA Edition) and Koren Sacks (Hebrew-English Edition) and the page numbers correspond to these Siddurim only.

Please consult with Rabbi Topp regarding specific customs and practices.

The services are divided into many sections, files appear in order of the T’filah and each file is short, helping you to easily find the part you’re interested in.

The differences in pronunciation of God’s name depend whether it appears in a Pasuk or not. Shem Adnut is used when a verse from the bible is quoted, otherwise a Kinui is used (Hashem).

With regards to the Amidah there are two options: Central European nusach and Wahlin nusach known also as Chassidic. The first appears in Shacharit and the latter in Mincha however; you may use only one or switch between them.

Recurring prayers like Kaddish were recorded separately and only once.  All files are sung by Beth Jacob’s Cantor Arik Wollheim.
